| road tripping |

So for all of you that don't know, I spent 2 weeks this summer in a car with Matt surveying the majority of the western United States.
we saw: chicago, a pig destroyer burger, the lovely laura, the michiganfest dvd, some nebrasken hippies, my first mountains, the desert, the grand canyon, some big birds, a viceroy, two real live pandas, assorted other zoo animals, laguna beach(which i hate!), haight and ashbury, city lights, dawn and her very hospitable boyfriend nick, evan and ellie, some good art, some strange art, hot fuzz, kim, secret waterfalls, countless deer, buffalos, but no juffalos, the clearest rivers and clearest skies, old faithful, sulfur lakes, and badlands.
we ate: too much taco bell, a faux fish sandwhich, veggie reubens, a vegan country fried steawk, the best burritos i've ever had, vegan soft serve, and some great pancakes.
we: drove way too much, didn't take enough photos, had a wonderful time
but see for yourself...
(before you do, they are huge! so beware. it took me long enough to put all of these online, i didn't want to take the time to resize.)

no one writes in livejournal anymore.
i i i...
I. went out west. i almost fell off of numerous mountains and into bottomless canyons and chasms, but i came home with only a few bumps and bruises. i will elaborate and have pictures soon, promise.
II. live with an awesome dudette and dudes.
III. have a birthday and anniversary on the horizon. miraculously made it to the ripe old age of 23 and have somehow not drove matt to the edge of insanity for almost 2 of those years.
IV. have become the master of vegan home cookin'.
V. want to drink and play scrabble. all day, every day.
VI. have amazing friends who i love love love.

it's been a while since i've showed signs of activity, but here i am. and i'm doing pretty well. how about yourselves?
i've been burrowed away at 1212 for the majority of this winter, peeking my head out for school, work, and the occansional rays of sunshine.
i've been keeping good company between the cats, periodic house guests, and good books. i have matty and a heat dish to keep me warm.
i love them both.
a few notable things happened in february. there was valentines day, which was an experience to say the least.
this is matt eating spaghetti and a valentines day suprise.
this is my chewing face.
the spaghetti made my pupils dialate until i had gigantic marble eyes. i was intrigued!
khris came over and kept us company while i verbally assaulted him. he has video. you should pester him to see it. or maybe you shouldn't.
dan came over and he played fall out boy songs for us.
we slept an uncomfortable and unsettling sleep, but i woke up more enlightened than i had been the day before. like i said, it was quite the experience.
also, as promised, here are the pictures from the show at dans on friday. i don't believe they need any naration.
